Language in the Landscape Example

Posted: September 2, 2010 in Uncategorized

Here is my example of language in the landscape. It is John Mayer’s video of “Waiting on the World to Change”.

I chose this video because it shows how music and graffiti can be used to convey a message. A message that reflects a societal reaction to global events, such as war, pollution, misinformation, etc… I think it is a great song and video.

I love this. I am kind of obsessed with John Mayer’s music and am kind of feeling like I should have thought of this myself. Anyway, great choice!
